As I close the chapter on 2025, I recognize it has been a year of profound resets—one where I intentionally cleared my slate to make room for new beginnings. I have a small confession: at the start of summer, I found myself at a crossroads with my two podcasts, Shining Bright with Serene Grace on Voice America Media and Your Inner Light with Serene Grace on Bold Brave TV. After four years of experimenting, producing, and pouring my soul into both platforms, I realized it was time to pause, breathe, and realign my goals so I could grow into even stronger dreams. Sometimes the universe whispers, sometimes it nudges—but when it’s guiding you in a new direction, you must listen. Those podcasts were a tremendous creative endeavor—ones that taught me how to build meaningful, healing content for audiences around the world. I welcomed so many incredible guests whose wisdom uplifted my viewers and brought that special “positive sparkle” I love sharing with the world. Along the way, broadcasting and podcasting became second nature to me. I truly loved the work, and it brought out the very best in who I am. Looking ahead, I hope to continue pursuing what I now call my “third career” in media. I believe I have a talent for inspiring and charming audiences globally, and I am devoted to helping people discover their own inner light. As I step into 2026, I can feel an intuitive shift—new opportunities in media, writing, and perhaps even authorship are rising on the horizon. Over the last fifteen years, I’ve faced unusual injuries to joints, ligaments, and tendons from various accidents. In 2010, I even underwent major brain surgery for Arnold Chiari Malformation—an experience I wrote more fully last year. One of my goals is to compete in a body competition—either before or after I enter my fabulous fifties. I am also devoted to deepening my spiritual journey, continuing to heal, and cultivating genuine inner peace. We all walk our own path of becoming more whole, more present, and more authentic. In the years ahead, I see myself hosting more holistic events throughout the United States and traveling the world to explore new spiritual modalities—further sharpening my gifts as a transformational intuitive life coach, all while bringing that signature sparkle into people’s lives. A Holiday Reminder: Why It is Important to Take Time for Your Mental and Physical Health (Even When You’re Crazy Busy)?

Happy Holidays! When life gets busy, taking care of yourself is usually the first thing you do. But most importantly, it’s the thing you need the most. When you’re stressed, tired, or running on empty, everything feels harder: focusing, being patient, making decisions, or even just getting through the day. Taking a little time for your mental and physical health is not selfish; it’s what keeps healthy and grounded. Simple things like taking a short break, going for a walk, eating something real (whole food), or giving yourself a few quiet minutes can make an enormous difference. Interesting, one funny thing that I have started implementing in life that’s so simple, but I never understood why my boyfriend would do it.
Now that I have entered the workforce as a teacher and have a bunch of voices talking at me, it has become so overstimulated. At the end of the day, I started to just take a few minutes to sit in my car in silence.
These small resets help your brain recharge, boost your energy, and keep you from burning out. When you take care of yourself, you show up to work more clearly, calmer, and more productive. Now that I have gotten in the groove of being a new teacher, I am going to get back to my gym routine. I have been saying I will go because I know that I feel better when I do my yoga and take time for resistance train, but I just always put work before my health. NO MORE, I am now telling myself that you need to take care of YOU, so you can take care of OTHERS around you.
Being busy does not mean ignoring your needs. It means being even more intentional about taking care of them. A healthier you means you are a happier and more effective YOU—and your work will benefit from it, too.

(HRT): Your Path to Renewed Balance!

Happy Holidays! For many years, we were told not to use Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) because of the increased risk of breast cancer. While we all knew something was wrong with this suggestion, many still bought into the facts that were printed years ago without linked science to back it up. The FDA has finally declared that (HRT) is no longer a threat to existence, but a benefit. Hormones affect everything about us as humans, from our physicality to our mentality.
When it comes to the physical benefits of using (HRT), there are two that stand out. Utilizing (HRT) can tremendously benefit your bone health by increasing density to prevent osteoporosis and potential breaks and fractures. When most people think of aging, we think about how the skin becomes less elastic, but it could be bone loss contributing to the appearance you do not like seeing. If you have been looking in the mirror lately and have not liked what you were looking back at you, then (HRT) can help with that as well.
When taking (HRT) for the purpose of increasing the expiration date of your life beauty card, don’t expect results to be immediate. While studies have proven that (HRT) can increase the elasticity and thickness of skin by increasing the production of collagen, it will still take months to notice significant changes in appearance. In fact, estrogen and testosterone are both important for that youthful appearance that we all like to see. When we are born, we have the biggest amount of estrogen in our bodies, and estrogen can be referred to as the beauty hormone.
Estrogen is the hormone responsible for skin thickness, which is why as we get older, especially during the perimenopause years that our skin on our face and body start to look saggier and more deflated. A lack of estrogen can also cause you to have poor sleep schedules, which in turn will lead to a sallower looking complexion. If you want a noticeable difference in a few days, I say add in hyaluronic acid, and increase the amount of water that you drink. By incorporating both things, your skin will look more plump and hydrated.

(HRT) has been shown to improve mood by decreasing and or limiting depression and anxiety the same way SSRI’s can. There isn’t a woman alive that doesn’t know how much hormones can affect your mood, and cognition. Like the physical benefits though it takes time to see the mental benefits. Human bodies are complex, and take time to adapt to changes, so you can expect to see changes in a month or two with consistent use of (HRT). Going back to sleep, estrogen is vital for a good night of rest and energy throughout the day. Poor sleep quality is linked to poorer cardiovascular health, and with long periods of sleep deprivation, you will see a decrease in mood, energy, and libido. (HRT) can help get progesterone, and estrogen back in balance for a more restful night of sleep.
The FDA claims that if (HRT) is started within 10 years of perimenopause then women could potentially reduce their risk of cardiovascular disease by 50%, Alzheimer’s by 35%, and bone fractures by 50 to 60%. (FDA,2025) It is recommended to start before the age of 60 as a woman for better outcomes. So far there are 2 new medicines being produced to help with perimenopause and menopause times for women. Premarin the hormone replacement therapy drug is getting a generic form to make the treatment more accessible to women. The second drug to hit the market soon is not hormone based but its claim is that it will relieve symptoms of perimenopause, such as fatigue, and hot flashes. With these two new drugs to hit the market soon, women will be able to either go full (HRT) or treat the symptoms alone and give options for those who choose to use or not use hormones.
My hope with this new information is that it will snowball and women will finally have science backed statistics based on their bodies’ needs, and a many like we have seen for so many years already.

Hello, my beautiful friends! Fall is just around the corner, which means it’s almost time to trade in sandals for cozy sweaters. As the “-ber” months arrive, let’s take this season as an opportunity to recenter and refresh ourselves, especially with our self-care. I always say that beauty comes from within and is reflected on the outside. Now you may have heard this before and think yeah yeah…. I know that it’s what inside that matters the most, and yes, I full-heartedly believe that but that isn’t what I mean.
What I am getting at is that what you eat, and drink is what you should focus on. You also need to prioritize your mental health, because when you feel happy, you always look your best. Poor diet, stress, depression, it all shows not only our attitudes but our skin, too. I am not saying you must eat nothing but vegetables, chicken, and drink only water. You can indulge yourself in the pleasures of sugary foods, drinks, and alcohol but it’s best to limit the amount you do partake in them. 80/20 is a good rule to live by for a healthy skin and mind diet. Eat healthy 80% of the time, indulge yourself 20% of the time.
Now, let’s get to the good stuff. Skincare doesn’t need to be complicated like all the social media stars make you think it is. In fact, you only need a cleanser, exfoliant, serum, moisturizer, and SPF. You can add in other things if you like but they aren’t really needed. Just grab a gentler cleanser, a chemical or physical exfoliant, a serum to target skin concerns, and a moisturizer for your skin type. Sun protection is not negotiable, if you aren’t chasing after the fountain of youth, remember that skin cancer isn’t picky about who it chooses. Diving into skincare and selfcare is one of the best parts of this fall season. Stores will be having skincare sales; spas are giving out discounts on treatments, and there’s plenty of robes, and comfortable socks to keep you warm and happy for a cozy night in. My favorite way to add some fun to my skincare/self-care routine is to swap out my jazz music during my bubble bath for relaxing music. When I’m masking, I love to set the mood by watching a cozy romantic comedy, sipping my favorite chai tea, and lighting a pumpkin spice candle to fully embrace the fall vibes. Being fit and healthy comes down to three categories: strength, mobility, and flexibility. Which category is most important for a healthy lifestyle? Not one category is more important than the other. All three categories are needed to live life happily and fully.
While many people think flexibility is the same as mobility, and while they do go together, they are different from each other. Flexibility involves muscles, ligaments, and tendons. When focusing on flexibility, you are actively stretching and elongating your muscles. It also involves coordination, and control of muscles. Think about how ballerinas dance so gracefully and stretch their limbs far for poses. Mobility is the ability of the body to move freely and in full range of motion. Think about how you squat or bend over to pick up something. That is your body being mobile. Let’s go back to the ballerina reference. A ballerina needs to be flexible to stretch their arms and legs into beautiful poses, but they also need to be able to move and bend freely. In general, all humans need to be able to do that, but it is a requirement to be a phenomenal dancer, especially a ballerina. If a ballet dancer does not have great hip or shoulder mobility, then the dance would look less graceful and stiffer. Strength is someone everyone needs to live a healthy and active life. It is not enough to be flexible, and mobile. Strength does not only equate to having large muscles, or a toned looking physique; it also involves our bones. Back to the ballerina, strength is focused on just as much as flexibility and mobility. While having big muscles isn’t common in ballet dancers, you can bet they are still very strong. Have you ever seen the male dancers lift the female dancers with ease, and grace? couldn’t do that without being strong. Likewise, try holding your leg in the air for more than 30 seconds without it hurting. Strong bones and muscles are vital for longevity. We’ve all heard of how it’s common to break your hips when you are elderly. Why is that? Is it because of weak muscles? Well partly, but mainly because it’s a result of weak bones. How do you make them stronger? Move your body and put some resistance on it. Lift weights, do body weight exercises, do some cardio. When you put pressure on your bones, it helps to keep them strong. Just don’t go overboard and lift too heavy too soon or run for a longer time than you know you can or should. Remember that recovery is when you repair your body. So, add resistance, but don’t forget to rest too.
So go for a walk, do some daily stretches, go for walk to convenience store instead of driving, and do your squats. You will thank me later when you can hike without pain or actively play on the floor with your grandkids or pets.

Finding a healthy balance between emotional expression and respecting others’ capacities is crucial for maintaining supportive, sustainable relationship.
Emotional dumping differs from healthy emotional sharing because it lacks mutual consent. The listener often feels cornered or burdened by conversations they didn’t agree with, especially when those conversations repeatedly revisit the same topics without resolution. This pattern can lead to exhaustion, compassion fatigue, and resentment over time.
In group settings, one individual may monopolize conversations with personal grievances, creating discomfort and emotional strain for others. Repeated exposure to emotionally charged topics—whether from friends, coworkers, or acquaintances—can quietly wear down even the most empathetic listeners.

How To Use It?
• Cleanse and dry skin thoroughly using soft cloth. Avoid rubbing, and gently pat to remove moisture.

My Thoughts: I loved this mask ever since the first time I used it. As soon as I opened it, and applied the mask to my face, I was greeted with a wonderful lemon aroma. The texture is gel like, instead of creamy like that I am used, too, and it took longer to absorb into my skin but that wasn’t a deal breaker. When I looked in the mirror the next day, I was amazed at how bright and plump my face looked compared to when I was not using the face mask. In my opinion, the Hanyul Yuja Sleeping Mask does live up to its claim that states the user will wake up to revitalized, refreshed, and glowing skin. How We Obtained What We Deserved!
The journey of women's rights has been a long and arduous one, marked by significant milestones and courageous individuals who have fought tirelessly for equality. This document explores the progression of women's rights over the years, highlighting pivotal moments and key figures, including the indomitable Ruth Bader Ginsburg. Before I get into what this is about, let me enlighten you more on women’s rights. Women’s rights activism began in the 19th century, when women started to demand equal rights from society. The Seneca Falls Convention of 1848 was a seminal event, where activists like Elizabeth Cady Stanton and Lucretia Mott called for equal social, civil, and religious rights for women. The movement gained momentum, culminating in the passage of the 19th Amendment in 1920, granting American women the right to vote. Then came The Great Depression and World War II, women had no choice but to enter the workforce while their men were away at war. Though the war ended, the women’s right to work didn’t, and many refused to go back to being homemakers. In the 1960’s and 70’s, we saw the second wave of feminism, and it focused on reproductive rights, and workplace equality. Landmark legislation such as the Equal Pay Act of 1963 and Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972 were significant victories during this period.
RBG The G.O.A.T. (Greatest of All Time)
Enter Ruth Bader Ginsburg (RBG), a towering figure in the fight for women's rights, played a pivotal role in advancing gender equality through her work as a lawyer, professor, and Supreme Court Justice. Ginsburg co-founded the Women's Rights Project at the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) in 1972, where she argued landmark cases before the Supreme Court, challenging laws that discriminated based on sex. Appointed to the Supreme Court in 1993 by President Bill Clinton, Ginsburg continued to be a steadfast advocate for women's rights. Her opinions and dissents, often focused on gender discrimination, have left an indelible mark on American jurisprudence. Notable cases include United States v. Virginia (1996), which struck down the male-only admission policy of the Virginia Military Institute, and Ledbetter v. Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. (2007), which highlighted pay discrimination issues and led to the Lilly Ledbetter Fair Pay Act of 2009.
Despite progress, challenges remain. Women continue to face disparities in pay, representation in leadership positions, and access to healthcare even in the 21st century. The global pandemic has also exacerbated existing inequalities, disproportionately affecting women's employment and economic stability.
Modern Day Struggles
Now that you have a more in-depth knowledge of women’s rights, let’s talk about how women’s rights are now crumbling around us. Who can we blame? In my opinion, it is none other than the strong, intelligent, key figure, Ruth Bader Ginsburg. Now you are probably going to stop reading or already swearing but hear me out…. We need to look back at when the rights of women in America were once again in the spotlight thanks to men who can’t keep their noses and opinions out of everything women do.
In modern times, we saw that around 2017 and to this day, that women’s rights were slowly slipping away from us again. Our right to control our bodies (reproductive rights) was on the chopping block again for so called religious reasons; however, we all know it is just because they don’t want women to control anything, including themselves. Even if it is for religious reasons, it shouldn’t be allowed thanks to a little thing called separation of church and state.
With the rollback of women’s rights regarding abortions and birth, we have already seen the disastrous effects from it. States are now fighting for women to have access to medical care in hospitals, and contraception. There have already been fatalities related to women not having access to their right to abortion. Abortion is seen to be so disgusting that now, even rape victims are being told they do not have the right to have an abortion. I find the latter to be much more disgusting than an abortion. I can’t imagine the psychological damage a woman takes on from giving birth to children from assault or having to give birth when the fetus is already deemed not viable or already deceased. Only a true villain would put a human being through that torture, and if God does in fact exist, I doubt he would look kindly upon those who torture others.
We have repeatedly seen how politicians make a career out of their status and power. Men and women alike I may add. Why? Because people become greedy no matter how good of a person they want to be. So... yes in my opinion we are in this backwards mess because of RBG. She had multiple chances to retire from her position as Supreme Court Justice of the United States. She knew she was unwell with a bout of cancer, and even with pleas from Democratic Scholars, she refused to give up her comfortable seat. If she had, then the Democratic Controlled Senate would’ve had the ability to keep her legacy aflame and continue her excellent work with women and gender equality and trans rights. Instead, she held on to her very last breath and passed away at age 87 during a time where Republicans had much of the Senate, and therefore a Trump nominee was elected, and women’s rights and gender equality rights are now being challenged once again.
With that being said, I really hope that America learns some good lessons from the turmoil they elected for the country. We love to sing about how women run the world, but we are years away from it being even a thought.
